Welcome to Royalburn Station Farm Tours! We appreciate your interest in our tour and want to ensure you have a fantastic experience with us. All proceeds will go towards the following charities – Garden to Table, Kiwi Harvest and Baskets of Blessings. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, so please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions outlined below prior to making your booking.
Inclusions:
- Return transport to and from Royalburn Farm Shop in Arrowtown (pick-up 9:00am and drop-off approx 12:15pm).
- 9:30am – 11:00am – tour of the farm
- 11:15am – 11:45am – enjoy a light morning tea
Three tours available
- Tour 1 – Thursday 18th Jan 2024
- Tour 2 – Monday 5th Feb 2024
- Tour 3 – Sunday 3rd March 2024
Tickets cost $95 per adult and $45 per child (under 12)
Please note there are a limited number of tickets available per tour.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Payment and Acceptance:

- Full payment is required upon booking, whether in person or online.
- Your payment indicates your agreement to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cancellation Policy.
- Tour Experience:

- Please understand that we operate in a high-altitude alpine environment, and weather conditions may vary. We cannot guarantee clear skies.
- The tour content may change due to seasonal variations, weather, farming operations, and road conditions.
- Animals may be moved between paddocks and might not always be visible from the designated route, but worry not, we adapt to ensure you have a great experience.
- Respect all animals and wildlife on the farm. Do not approach or feed animals without explicit permission from farm staff.
- Weather and Route Changes:

- Tours may be adjusted or shortened due to fast-changing weather conditions.
- Refunds or discounts are not applicable for weather-related changes. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy below for further details.
- Tour Guidelines:

- Our tours are non-smoking and no alcohol is to be consumed.
- Participants under the influence will be denied entry without a refund.
- Participants are required to wear appropriate footwear, such as closed-toe shoes or boots, suitable for walking on uneven terrain. Dress appropriately for the weather conditions and consider wearing sunscreen, hats, and insect repellent as needed. Failure to comply may result in denied tour access.
- Participants may take photographs and videos during the tour for personal use. Commercial or promotional photography and videography require prior consent from the farm management.
- Health and Safety:

- All participants must adhere to the safety guidelines and instructions provided by the farm staff during the tour. It is the responsibility of each participant to follow these guidelines to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
- Before your tour we will ask you to familiarise yourself with our health and safety guidelines. These will be sent to you via email.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the tour.
- Participation in your Farm Tour is contingent on acknowledgement of our health and safety guidelines.
- Special Requirements:

- Please contact us at admin@royalburn.co.nz if you have any mobility requirements before booking, we will work with you to the best of our ability to accommodate your needs.
- Punctuality:

- Please arrive at the Farm Shop 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. Late arrivals are considered ‘no-shows’ and are not eligible for refunds.
- Liability

- By participating in the farm tour, all participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with farm activities. The farm and its staff will not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other losses that may occur during the tour.
- Follow all Royalburn guidelines, procedures and instructions. Ensure all children under your supervision follow these guidelines, procedures and instructions and are closely supervised.
- Royalburn Station is not liable for damages beyond your tour payment, except for supplier guarantee breaches under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Tours run in all weather conditions, except when unsafe.
- In case of cancellation by us, we offer a full refund or rescheduling options, subject to availability.
- Should you have a need to cancel your booked Farm Tour the following refund structure applies:

- Cancellation up to 7 days before departure: 100% refund.
- Cancellation 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 12 hours of departure: 0% refund.
By participating in the farm tour, all participants agree to abide by these health and safety terms and conditions. It is essential to prioritise safety and respect for the farm environment throughout the duration of the tour.
